This teapot is a beauty. It was made with groggy red speckled clay which provides some deep and hearty speckles and a cool blue tone to the matte white glaze. Details on the handle and the gallery of the lid are left unglazed to showcase the red clay. It has a snug lid and the spout has a series of holes to strain loose leaf tea.
